MC Management GmbH (MCM) is a company jointly owned by the two logistics entrepreneurs Michael und Rolf Meyer, which also includes Meyer & Meyer Holding SE & Co. KG and CityWOW! GmbH & Co. KG, a consulting firm for innovative city logistics. Long-term commitment to conserving the environment is rooted deeply within the company's guiding principles. In addition to designing energy-saving lighting concepts for logistics warehouses, promoting energy generation with the help of combined heat, power and cooling systems, and operating the largest photovoltaics facility in the Osnabrück region, Meyer & Meyer supports pilot test runs with electrified commercial vehicles. From the latter, comprehensive insights were gained in terms of vehicle scheduling, routing, and the implementation of charging infrastructure and charging cycles. The knowledge gained is the foundation for developing innovative drive concepts and for planning and evaluating fleet driving tests. The company's medium-term goal is to increase their operation of electric commercial vehicles in inner-city distribution transport, by which Meyer & Meyer will take a pioneering role in Germany. |
